Honey Butter
(makes 1 cup)
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons heavy cream
In the small bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter at medium speed until
it is very soft. Beat in the honey until it is blended. Gradually beat in the
cream. Cover and refrigerate the butter. Let it stand at room temperature to
soften before serving. Absolutely luscious served on warm breads and
rolls. |
