Antique Thomas Harwood Silver-plated Toast Rack on an oak base. This gorgeous English toast rack makes a striking statement on the breakfast table, as well as in the library as a letter holder. Stamped into the silver-plate is the mark of TH&S which would date this between the years 1864-1896. Solid oak base with original silver plated feet. The feet unscrew for cleaning. This toast rack is in excellent antique condition. No repairs or damage. Small area of discoloration on the oak base. The patina is a warm golden oak. We located this antique toast rack in West Sussex, England. Measurements: 6" tall, 5.5" long, 3" wide.
