Antique Copper Sauce Pan. An antique copper sauce pan with a wrought iron handle. The measurements are: 6 1/4" (16 cm) width, 4" (10 cm) high, handle is 7" (18 cm) long, total length of 13 1/2" (34 cm). The weight of this pan is 1.98 lb (898 grams) and the gauge thickness is 1mm. This copper sauce pan is in excellent antique condition. The pan has cramp seams (dovetails), a dot at the center of the bottom of the pan placed there by the coppersmith and used as a guide when cutting the copper bottom, and three copper rivets. The handle is tight to the sauce pan and has a punch hole hanging loop at the end of it. The exterior of this antique sauce pan has a small superficial ding. The interior of the pan has a worn tin lining. This antique sauce pan was located in Michigan.
We recommend a new layer of tin be applied before using this antique copper sauce pan for food preparation.
