Framed in a wooden black frame, measuring 12" x 16", the etching print area measures 7" x 9". There is a short bibliography of this great racehorse Greyhound, as well as the artist Palenske applied to the backing of the frame.

    Reinhold Palenske (1884-1954). R.H. Palenske was a painter and master etcher, reknowned for his dry-point etchings. Born in Chicago, the son and grandson of Calvery officers, Palenske studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. His most noted works included wildlife, dogs, horses, hunting scenes, and bold landscapes of the American West and Canadian Rockies.
